Serological diagnostics

Within the scope of our accreditation, a wide range of serological tests on blood /serum/ samples are performed for the diagnosis of infectious diseases in domestic, wild, and exotic animals, some of which are particularly dangerous anthropozoonoses:

  • In Ruminants: Brucellosis (Brucella melitensis, Brucella abortus), Ovine Epididymitis (Brucella ovis), Maedi-Visna and Caprine Arthritis Encephalitis, Rinderpest / Peste des Petits Ruminants, Bluetongue, Enzootic Bovine Leukosis, Infectious Bovine Rhinotracheitis / Infectious Pustular Vulvovaginitis, Leptospirosis, Bovine Viral Diarrhea / Mucosal Disease, Foot-and-Mouth Disease virus, Schmallenberg virus, Q Fever, Transmissible Spongiform Encephalopathy.

  • In Swine: Brucellosis (Brucella suis), Leptospirosis, Classical Swine Fever, African Swine Fever.

  • In Avian species: Salmonellosis, Avian Influenza A, Newcastle Disease.

  • In Equines: Leptospirosis, Equine Infectious Anemia, Theileriosis (Theileria equi).

  • In Fish: Viral Hemorrhagic Septicemia, Infectious Hematopoietic Necrosis, Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis, Spring Viremia of Carp.

The test methods fully comply with the requirements of the Manual of Diagnostic Tests and Vaccines for Terrestrial Animals of the WOAH (World Organisation for Animal Health), which regulates these activities in the EU.
